That’s why we offer professional weekly and bi-weekly mowing services to keep your lawn looking its best throughout the growing season, allowing you to enjoy a pristine outdoor space without the hassle.

At Jim’s Property Maintenance, we strive to provide top-notch lawn mowing services tailored to your specific needs. To ensure the best results, we kindly ask our clients to remove any large items or debris, such as dog waste, hoses, or toys, from the lawn and to leave the gate or access points unlocked before our scheduled mowing service. We also verify the schedule of your irrigation system to avoid mowing a wet lawn.

During our service, we utilize a string trimmer to edge around trees, landscape beds, and building foundations, typically every other week unless specified otherwise during onboarding. Our standard cutting height is 3.25″, but we can adjust this based on your preferences. After mowing, we blow off all hard surfaces, such as driveways, patios, and sidewalks, leaving your lawn looking fresh and crisp.

We offer both weekly and bi-weekly mowing services, depending on your lawn’s growth rate and your preferences. If you opt for bi-weekly service and are unhappy with the amount of clippings left on your lawn, we recommend switching to weekly service. We make any changes between weekly and bi-weekly service at the end of our monthly billing cycle to ensure a smooth transition.

As October approaches and leaf litter and pine needles start falling on lawns, we adapt our services to meet your needs. We offer various options, such as switching to a two-man crew with baggers on our mowers to collect debris and clippings, adjusting the frequency of visits, or scheduling a final fall cleanup in November.

We understand that every client has different preferences, and we work closely with you to create a customized plan that meets your expectations and budget. Ultimately, we are committed to providing exceptional lawn mowing services that keep your outdoor space looking its best throughout the year.

NOTE: Rain days are likely to push our schedules back. This means if it rained earlier in the week, we would likely be as many days late as there was rain.

Additional add-ons to our lawn mowing service may further include:

• Pruning & Shearing Shrubs: Although a great deal of garden bed maintenance can be performed during spring and fall cleanups, there are some plants that require care during the other parts of the year. We generally shear/shape shrubs and hedges in the summer after they put on their spring growth (i.e., yews, arborvitae, barberries, privets). We also prune and shear certain flowering shrubs after they bloom (i.e., lilacs and rhododendrons). If these shrubs were serviced during spring and fall cleanups, they would not bloom properly and could be damaged.
• Mulching: We typically mulch our clients’ landscape beds annually or every other year, depending on their preference. Occasionally, this involves redefining natural-cut landscape bed edges.
• Edging: We edge overgrown sidewalks and driveways as requested by our clients
  Weeding: We walk our clients’ landscape beds six times (once/month during the first week of the month from May through October) and spray any weeds that pop up with herbicide. If weeds are located in close proximity to a desirable plant, we will attempt to remove them by hand. We do not offer this service exclusively as hand-weeding.
• Pest Deterrent Applications: Typically paired with the six weeding visits, we apply products to plants susceptible to damage from rodents and deer and note any other pest problems.
